Training Objective

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Understand the IFC8 and Opera IFC Controller architecture and data flow between POS and OPERA PMS.
• Interpret IFC8 GUI lamp indicators and identify system status.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting for POS–PMS interface issues.
• Diagnose common errors such as timeouts, duplicate postings, SQL errors, mapping issues, and payment failures.
• Collect the correct logs and technical evidence required for escalation.
• Apply standard restart and validation procedures confidently and correctly.
